It was in the January of 2011 that I, Katie Seal, received my first spinning wheel. The first thing my childhood friend said to me that day as she gazed upon my shiny new Ashford Traditional will forever remain with me:

What are you, like, Sealy MacWheely or something?”

I thought it was the stupidest thing I had ever heard.
It stuck.

June Maker of the Month

Introducing the Sealy MacWheely Maker of the Month feature! Each month shall highlight one of the wonderfully talented crafters and dyers whose work you can find in the shop.

For June 2019 I’d like to introduce you to my pal Chrissy aka The Kitchen Witch :

The Kitchen Witch

Made in the hills of Dumfries and Galloway The Kitchen Witch creates all her soap and skincare range from scratch.

Most of the products are vegan friendly and everything is paraben, SLS, palm oil, artificial fragrance and preservative free.

You can find a yummy selection of her handmade soaps, minty fresh lipbalms and essential-oil based perfumes in the shop. Keep your eyes peeled for a restock that is coming very soon featuring part of her new range of goodies for you to try!
