Yes you read that right, after months of planning and sleepless nights I am now finally ready to announce my big news:
Sealy MacWheely is going to be opening soon as a physical Local Yarn Shop! Ta-daa!

In order to help fund a few necessities for the shop I have launched a Kickstarter Campaign which will be running through till 23:59 on 21st Oct 2018.

- Stockist of local hand dyed and hand spun yarns, fibres for spinning and felting, and range of accessories available to test and buy
- Community space for drop-in help, Knit’n’Natter sessions and craft workshops
- Showcase space for local arts and crafts
It was in the January of 2011 that I, Katie Seal, received my first spinning wheel. The first thing my childhood friend said to me that day as she gazed upon my shiny new Ashford Traditional will forever remain with me:
“What are you, like, Sealy MacWheely or something?”
I thought it was the stupidest thing I had ever heard.
